I grow tired of the cowards on capitol hill that come from the red side because of how they want to treat some Americans. And by some Americans I mean the homosexuals that pay taxes just like you and I the straight person. Now I don’t mind if they are ignorant bigoted useless waste of air humans, they have that right, but I do mind that they have decided that law should be passed to actively discriminate against homosexuals and their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by trying to prevent them from marrying.
There is another group that takes this a step further. They hate homosexuals and are completely open about hating them based on the teachings of the old testament. But they are just like every other Christian in the sense they pick and choose what to take out of the bible. They point at homosexuality being a sin in the old testament, though Christ himself never said anything about it, which makes sense since he walked around for years with only 12 guys. Hello Westboro Baptist Church!
Both sides are inconsistent in terms of what they take from their holy book, but they both seem to have a dislike for homosexuals. But at least the Westboro Baptist Church is OPEN about their hatred towards homosexuals, while the Republicans dance around it with rationalizations and excuses, and never say anything directly hate-filled because the media would destroy them for it.
Personally I could care less if they have a problem with homosexuals any more than if they have a problem with atheists like myself. What I do have a problem with is the people that decide on laws in this country are trying to actively prevent the happiness of millions of Americans due to their inconsistent warped view of Christianity, but wrap it in an argument of tradition. News flash people – it was tradition to own black people. After they were free it was tradition to not let them vote. It was tradition to not allow women to vote. It was tradition to not allow women to own land.
So why did we stop those things? Easy answer - just because something is tradition doesn’t mean it isn’t completely stupid and unjust. If you feel that you have the right to force another to be denied rights that you yourself get then you are the problem with America, not the group you willfully discriminate against. You are destroying America, based on outdated tradition, based on homophobia, and the old testament which you seem to pick what to listen to from that part of the book.
America – home of the free indeed, if you are white, wealthy and are attracted to the opposite sex.

Pretty tired of Atheists, Agnostics, Libertarians, and Anarchists purporting Ron Paul as a viable solution to our zounds of problems. Allow me to retort:
Ron Paul does not value equal rights for minorities. H.R.3863, H.R.5909, H.J.RES.46, and H.J.RES.42.
Ron Paul would be disastrous for the working class. He wants to abolish OSHA (the administration AND the act), federal minimum wage, the 40 hour work week, the Davis-Bacon act and the Copeland act. H.R.2030, H.R.4604, H.R.736, and H.R.2720
Ron Paul’s tax plan is unfair to lower earners and would greatly benefit those with the highest incomes. He supports a 10% flat tax (which isn’t enough money to begin with), and would disallow ALL tax credits for individuals, EXCEPT tax credits for corporations. H.R.05484
Ron Paul’s policies would cause irreparable damage to our already strained environment, in order to pave the way for corporations to continue to monopolize our natural resources and rape the American people. H.R.2504, H.R.7079, H.R.7245, H.R.2415, H.R.393, H.R.4639, H.R.5293, and H.R.6936
Ron Paul is opposed to the separation of church and state. As is typical of those who are so opposed, he also hates gays and has introduced legislation to limit their rights. H.R.7955
So… Ron Paul: Anti-choice concerning abortion. Anti-choice concerning sexual orientation. Anti-choice concerning religion. Pro-Big Business. Pro-Corporations. Anti-Working Class.
